What you share
When you join the waitlist, we save your email address, the experiment category you choose, your signup time and a record of the consent text you accepted. An address on this list has not been verified as belonging to its submitter.
How we use it
We use these details to understand interest in robot experiments and contact people about Actuator Science early access and launch updates. Joining does not create an account, book hardware or authorize a payment. We do not sell this list or use it to send unrelated promotions. No automated email is sent by this signup form.
Storage and bot protection
The website and private waitlist database run on Cloudflare. The signup form uses Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection. Cloudflare processes connection and browser information to provide these services. The site retains only short-lived, salted hashes for submission-rate limits, not raw IP addresses in the signup database. Email addresses and verification tokens are not placed in website URLs or application logs.
Website analytics and signup sources
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page views, visits, referring websites, approximate country, device/browser type and page performance. This analytics service uses no tracking cookies or cross-site visitor ID. We do not send your email address or form values to it.
If you join the waitlist, we also save the referring hostname, short campaign labels (utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign) and which public page you first visited. We keep only these bounded labels, not raw referrer URLs, full query strings or advertising click IDs. This helps us count new signups by source. Your first landing is kept in this browser tab with a 30-minute attribution window; closing the tab clears that storage. No visitor identifier is generated. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable the analytics script and source capture. Browser blocking and missing referrers can make traffic counts incomplete.
Keeping and removing your details
We retain signup details while preparing early access and launch communications, unless you ask us to remove them. To request a copy, correction or removal, email devonallary1@gmail.com from the address you used. We may need to confirm that you control that address. Future marketing emails must provide an unsubscribe option.
